Job Description

Distacart is looking for a Content Marketing Associate to support our content creation and distribution efforts. Key Responsibilities

Content Creation

Develop engaging content for blogs, social media, emails, and website copy, aligned with Distacart’s brand voice and goals.

Assist in writing culturally relevant and shareable content to engage global audiences.

Proofread and edit content to ensure high-quality, error-free outputs.

Content Management

Manage and update the content calendar, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with campaigns.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support marketing initiatives and product launches.

SEO and Optimization

Conduct basic keyword research and optimize content to improve organic visibility.

Implement SEO best practices and track performance metrics to refine future content.

Analytics and Reporting

Monitor content performance using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).

Assist in preparing reports on engagement, reach, and other key metrics.

Collaboration

Work closely with the design and marketing teams to create cohesive campaigns.

Contribute ideas for new content formats and campaigns based on market trends.

Create content for internal-facing materials, including sales enablement resources, training materials, and employee communications, ensuring high readability, clarity, and relevance.

Assist in writing culturally relevant and shareable content to engage global audiences.

Ensure all content is plagiarism-free, human-curated, and highly readable for both external and internal audiences, following best practices for content creation.

Leverage AI tools like ChatGPT, Jasper, or Grammarly to draft, refine, and enhance text-based content efficiently, ensuring human-like quality.

Use AI-powered design platforms such as Canva or Adobe Firefly to create visually appealing graphics and visuals for social media and internal materials.


Content Optimization

Create content that aligns with SEO best practices for on-page optimization, such as proper use of keywords, meta descriptions, headers, and internal linking.

Collaborate with the SEO team to ensure that content supports overall SEO goals and enhances organic visibility.

Utilize AI tools for keyword integration suggestions, readability improvements, and content scoring for better on-page performance.

Maintain content that adheres to high-ranking practices, ensuring that all pieces are optimized for both search engines and human readers.


Market and Industry Research

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying these insights to content creation for both external and internal audiences.

Conduct comparative analysis of competitors’ content and strategies, ensuring Distacart’s content remains competitive and aligned with market trends.

Monitor content performance and adjust strategies accordingly to stay relevant to the audience and maintain a competitive edge.


Content Management

Manage and update the content calendar, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with campaigns.

Utilize AI tools to automate repetitive tasks, generate content ideas, and create platform-specific variations.

Skills

Technical Proficiency

Proficiency in using AI tools for content creation, including:
